The most important thing is that you are comfortable! That being said, it is a wedding, so wear something nice!
Some things to keep in mind:
We're getting married on a farm, high heels are not advised.
Even though it is summer, Swedish nights can be a bit chilly. The dinner and party are in an uninsulated barn, make sure to bring something warm for the evening.
Only Sofia is allowed to wear a white dress! ;)
Dogs are welcome, as long as they are well socialized and can interact with other dogs. There are several dogs and horses that live on the farm. An occasional bark can happen, but we want our wedding to be calm and fun for everyone, so if your dog has a tendency to bark a lot we would like them to stay at home.
That's great! Please contact our wedding team at weddingteam@ewoudandsofia.se so they can talk to you about a good moment for your speech.
We have a hard time asking for presents. We are happy that you are all joining us on this day, that's enough for us. Some of you have traveled far and made considerable expenses to be here, we can't ask for more.
If you want to give us something anyway, we are happy with a contribution to our honeymoon to New Zealand.
If you want to give something else and are unsure if we already have it, or if someone else might have had the same idea, please contact our wedding team at wedding-team@ewoudandsofia.se
Skavsta airport is the closest to our wedding, but it is quite small and there is only a limited number of international flights that land here.
Arlanda airport is Stockholm's biggest airport, it is easier to find an international flight here. If you are planning to spend a few days in Stockholm we also recommend flying to Arlanda, as it is a lot easier to get to the airport from Stockholm.
This is by far the easiest option, we assume that everyone has a navigation system that they can use. It is really easy to find. If you would like turn-by-turn directions from us, let us know and we can see what we can do.
Take a train to Nyköping Centralstation. From Stockholm there are 2 companies that offer regular train service:
Both companies have an app and website where you can buy tickets. You can also buy tickets at Stockholm Central station.
From the station you need to take a taxi or carpool with someone to get to Lasätter Gård.
It is unfortunately not possible to get all the way to Lasätter Gård with public transport. The closest bus stop is in Tuna (Tunaby, Tuna Kyrka or Tunakorset), but from there it is still 1 hour and 15 minutes walking to Lasätter Gård.
You can find the address at the bottom of the Location page.
We all had different ideas about what the address should be. We just made them all to keep the peace. All emails go to the same place.
